This was a self-driven open ended project I worked on with a like minded colleague who also has a background in architecture. Together, we wanted to explore the intersection of design methodology with spatial considerations. We defined the audience, purpose for research, and intentions before starting. Prior to the new Whitney museum built in New York City, we ventured out to the big apple to imagine a differentiated experience prior to the actual building realization. The end deliverable was a book, utilizing a variety of different visual styles to build my repertoire for different communication methods.
This book peaked the interest of industry leaders in organizations like Gensler and communications experts at the Institute of Design. Below are some excerpts from this nearly 80 page book.
